Bio
Meave Noonan is a Research Fellow in the Young People’s Sustainable Futures Lab at Deakin University. Meave completed her PhD in the sociology of youth and education, and her research interests include young people, education and training, and economic and labour market change, with a focus on critical understandings of young people’s ‘human capital’ and enterprise in the Anthropocene. Meave has contributed her research skills to a variety of projects, including an evaluation of the role that school networks can play in improving student outcomes in disadvantaged schools and a study of young service workers and employment politics.
