In this blog I build on my discussion in a previous blog – Can Education Survive the Age of Machine Intelligences? – about the value propositions that humans are increasingly compelled to make about what being human brings to endeavours which in the past required no such justification.
My provocation and prompts come from my previous work with the ideas of German sociologist Ulrich Beck and his thesis of The Risk Society and Reflexive Modernization.
My interests include – as I tell ChatGPT:
